One morning this week, I woke up to find a special text message on my phone.<\/p>\n

“Hi Ashwita,
\nWhy the soul does so feel abandoned,
\nWhy, again and again, taunted by lonely despair
\nWhy do the tears dry into a shriveling, deep within
\nHeal the soul, hear the call
\nHelp the beauty emerge,… oh please do!”<\/span><\/p>\n

And as I was still groggily trying to make sense of what I was reading, the answer automatically flowed. Of course, here’s a slightly edited version, there were a few rough edges in the original.<\/p>\n

Why does the drop,
\nFar away from the ocean,
\nFeel so miserable, incomplete?<\/p>\n

Why, as it quivers
\nIn the light of the sun,
\nDoes it weep alone in the heat?<\/p>\n

If only it knew,
\nIt was only a matter of time
\nIf only it knew,
\nThat every time the sun shines
\nThe heat has it vaporize,
\nSending it closer to the skies.<\/p>\n

May you remember,
\nWhen you feel like you are fading
\nThat you are only just
\nEvaporating.<\/p>\n

No body comes to help,
\nBecause it is your destiny to disappear
\nLose yourself completely,
\nAlthough it may be\u00a0exactly what you fear.<\/p>\n

You are meant to rise, meet the skies,
\nOnly to\u00a0then fall back down,
\nPlunge into the ocean, once again,
\nUntil all of you has drowned.<\/p>\n

You’re going back home, little one,
\nYes, you’re just going back home,
\nAnd only when you’re there, will you realise
