And as if they aren&#8217;t good enough already, try making a French toast out of them! This recipe is as easy as it gets, all you need to do is throw the ingredients together, mix and bake it. Enjoy!<\/p>\n<h5>Ingredients:<\/h5>\n<p>\u00be cup jaggery \u00a0(or 2\/3 cup brown sugar)<br \/>\n\u00bc cup refined oil (optional: makes the cake more moist)<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n2 mashed bananas<br \/>\n2 tbsp milk<br \/>\n1 cup whole wheat flour<br \/>\n1\/4 cup raisins, chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp baking soda<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp baking powder<br \/>\nA pinch of nutmeg powder<br \/>\nA pinch of salt<\/p>\n<h5>Method:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 180\u00b0C and grease a 7&#8217;x3&#8242; loaf tin with butter.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk all ingredients together until smooth<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 40-60 min until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who&#8217;s eaten banana breads knows how addictive these are.
