If you&#8217;re really lazy, you could even heat up ready-made pasta sauce, throw in canned pasta, and your sauce is ready in 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The time to cook might look a bit long here, but it&#8217;s really about some initial work, and then letting it cook by itself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Time taken: 20 min<br \/>\nServes 4<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">350 gms\/ 15 oz spaghetti<br \/>\n1 150gm\/ 5oz can tuna in brine, drained<br \/>\n6 big or 8 medium tomatoes<br \/>\n1 onion<br \/>\n4-5 cloves of garlic<br \/>\n2 tsp\u00a0dried parsley<br \/>\n\u00bd cup fresh Italian basil leaves<br \/>\n\u00bd cup dry white wine (optional)<br \/>\n2\u00bd tbsp olive oil<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Method<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bring a large pot of water to boil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, chop up the tomatoes and onion finely. (I like my sauce chunky. If you like it smooth, puree the tomatoes and onion separately)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Heat the oil in a skillet and add the garlic, and the onion after the garlic turns light brown.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the onions are light brown, add the tomatoes. Add the salt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, checking occasionally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the water starts boiling, add the spaghetti and cook as per the directions on the pack. Drain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the tomatoes are cooked and mushy, add the wine and allow it to simmer till the sauce is at the desired consistency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add the crumbled tuna.
