About

One of the things I hated most as a child, was having to study. Everything else was fun. Well, almost. My mother, obviously, was always pushing me to study, but somehow this was forgotten when I joined her in the kitchen. Not very hard to imagine, I guess, having to cook for four after a whole day of work.

So, most of my childhood evenings were spent sitting on the kitchen platform, dangling my legs and chatting up as she cooked. It wasn’t about learning how to cook, but that is how I’ve always learned – indirectly.

Today I heal as a profession, through energy and mind work. And sometimes, through food. Food to me, is a process of recreating the body and something that should be taken very seriously – in a playful way! This blog is here to do two things – to introduce the joy of cooking to those who’ve never entered the kitchen, and to bring in touch with the transformative power of food, those who already have.
